Who We Are

Built by people who worked underground

NoDig started as a small team repairing underground infrastructure the hard way. After years of hands-on sewer rehabilitation work, we built something better — machines that combine engineering precision with radical simplicity.

FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about NoDig equipment, technology and how to purchase or partner with us.

What is NoDig and what equipment does it manufacture?+

NoDig d.o.o. is a Croatian manufacturer of trenchless pipe cleaning and pipe rehabilitation equipment, founded in Osijek in 2012. The slogan is Genius of Simplicity. The range is three high-speed chain cleaning machines — V8 DN50–DN150, V1 DN32–DN100 and mini6 DN32–DN100 — and three epoxy lining machines — ProLight DN40–DN125 (DN150 with the larger hose), ProLight2 DN40–DN150 (DN200 with the larger hose) and The Pipe Boy DN50–DN300 — applying BSE two-component epoxy. NoDig manufactures and sells the equipment. The cleaning and lining work itself is carried out on site by certified partners, not by NoDig. Contact info@nodig.hr and you will be routed to the partner for your territory.

What pipe diameters do NoDig machines cover?+

Cleaning machines cover DN32–DN150 and epoxy lining machines DN40–DN300, so the range as a whole is DN32–DN300. Machine by machine: mini6 DN32–DN100, V1 DN32–DN100 and V8 DN50–DN150 for cleaning; ProLight DN40–DN125 (DN150 with the larger hose), ProLight2 DN40–DN150 (DN200 with the larger hose) and The Pipe Boy DN50–DN300 for lining. All of them work on PVC, concrete, steel, cast iron and clay pipes.

Are NoDig systems suitable for drinking water pipes?+

No. NoDig equipment and BSE epoxy are made for drain and sewer pipes only — domestic, commercial, municipal and industrial drainage. They are not intended for and not approved for potable or sanitary water systems, and NoDig holds no NSF 61, WRAS or WRc certification for them. Any claim to the contrary, wherever it appears, is incorrect.

What is trenchless pipe rehabilitation and how does the NoDig process work?+

It restores a damaged or corroded pipe from the inside, without excavating the ground above. Four steps. 1. High-speed chain cleaning with the V8, V1 or mini6 strips scale, grease, roots and corrosion off the wall and leaves the profile the epoxy needs to bond. 2. CCTV inspection, then the pipe is dried completely — residual moisture is the most common cause of delamination. 3. The ProLight, ProLight2 or The Pipe Boy applies BSE two-component epoxy by brush coating or spray lining, through an existing access point. 4. The epoxy cures, the lining is checked on camera and the pipe goes back into service. Brush coating and spray lining restore the inner surface of a pipe that is still standing. They are not a solution for a fully collapsed pipe or for major structural damage — those cases need a point repair, CIPP or replacement. A CCTV survey before the job decides which of the three applies. NoDig does not publish a design service life for the lining and makes no structural claim for it.

What is the NoDig BSE dual-colour epoxy?+

BSE stands for Brush Spray Epoxy — a two-component, 100 % epoxy for trenchless lining. It is supplied in two colours, white and blue, so that the operator can see on the in-pipe camera exactly where the second layer has gone and confirm the wall is fully covered. It comes in 1.6 kg cartridges and 12 kg pails, adheres to PVC, concrete, steel and cast iron, and runs in the ProLight, ProLight2 and The Pipe Boy. NoDig does not publish a technical data sheet for BSE: cure time, film thickness, number of passes and mix ratio are not published figures — request them from NoDig for your specific project.

What is The Pipe Boy and how does it differ from the ProLight?+

The Pipe Boy is the industrial machine of the line: DN50–DN300, 370 g/min output, a 50 m high-pressure hose on a reel, heated hoses and epoxy, remote control, 89 kg. It is the choice for municipal and industrial pipelines and for long runs. The ProLight (DN40–DN125, DN150 with the larger hose) weighs 6 kg, runs on 100 % compressed air with no electricity on site, and suits residential and light commercial work. The ProLight2 (DN40–DN150, DN200 with the larger hose) sits between them, pressing two cartridges at once for larger diameters.

What is the difference between brush coating and spray lining?+

Brush coating — A rotating brush mechanically spreads the resin over the pipe wall. Optimal in DN40–DN150. Better on bends, joints and irregular geometry, and the layer can be corrected over several passes. Spray lining (SIPP) — Centrifugal force disperses the resin around the full circumference of the pipe. Optimal in DN100–DN300. Better on straight sections and long runs, and leaves a smoother wall.

Where can I buy NoDig equipment in Europe?+

Through the regional authorised partners: nodig.hr (Croatia, manufacturer HQ — full catalogue, training, international orders), nodig-shop.de (Germany), nodig.si (Slovenia and Austria), nodig.rs (Serbia and the Western Balkans), nodig.es (Spain and Italy), nodig.fr (France). For a territory with no partner yet, write to info@nodig.hr or call +385 91 882 9860 — international orders ship directly from Osijek. Prices are quoted on request; there is no online payment.

Does NoDig provide training?+

Yes, and it is included in the purchase rather than sold separately. Operators are trained at the NoDig Training Centre in Osijek: machine setup, chain and tooling selection for the deposit type, cleaning technique, drying and surface preparation, cartridge loading and epoxy application, and quality control on camera after curing. Ongoing technical support and spare parts availability come with it.

What are NoDig's working hours?+

NoDig d.o.o. is open Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 CET. Email info@nodig.hr, phone +385 91 882 9860 (sales) or +385 91 618 6785 (technical support). The registered office is at Vukovarska 284, 31000 Osijek, Croatia; the office and service centre are at Vukovarska 125, Osijek.
